Born Karen Elizabeth Dreijer, in Nacka Sweden, Fever Ray is the lead singer of the electronic pop duo, The Knife. She was also the lead vocalist and guitarist for the alternative rock band Honey is Cool. She released her debut solo album in 2009 to critical acclaim and was named artist of the year (2009) by dummymag.com
